Address: Buyer Testimonials: "Jeff has done a great job handling my loan on my apartment building. After a couple refinances, my monthly payment has dropped at least $500 a month. And these are no-cost refinances, so I am never out-of-pocket at my closing." Rich Caner, MD "I worked with Jeff and 1st Home Group to find my condominium in Lincoln Park. I could not believe how smooth the process was. Within a month, I had found the perfect place with my own rooftop deck. They handled all the paperwork and got me a great low-interest loan. A month later, I closed on the place. I had always heard home buying would be a pain; not with these guys." Dave Bennett |

Why Do You Need Exclusive Buyer Agent? Why are we different from large traditional real estate companies? What is so unique about our company? 1st Home Group does not represent sellers or developers and therefore does not list any properties for sale. Therefore, we avoid the conflicts of interest that exist when a large real estate firm representing sellers assigns one of its agents to you. This is especially true when you meet this agent at an open house-that agent is usually a subagent of the real estate firm selling the home. This conflict can be confusing to buyers who may wrongly believe the agent is representing them. In the absence of a clear agreement otherwise, an agent works for the seller and will pass on your confidential information to the seller, such as your income and motivation, so that the seller knows what price to hold out for. We remove this conflict and confusion because we NEVER represent sellers or developers-only you the buyer. By limiting our representation to buyers, we take the normally one-sided buying process and make it fair to you. In a sense, we level the playing field by providing you with LOYALTY when negotiating a home purchase. Consider the facts: A study by U.S. Sprint found that relocating Sprint employees who hired a buyer's agent paid an average of 91% of a home's listing price. Buyers who used traditional agents assigned to them by large real estate companies paid 96% of the listing price. On a house listed for $250,000, that's a difference of $12,500. Look at the differences:
